Sid gives his friends get up close to the Hattys
On a warm, sunny August day Sid took some of his friends to have a close look at Hatty and Hatty2.
Bob and Aggie were the first to arrive
Sid pointed out Hatty's first badge - the Bestival Jamboree one
Bob liked Hatty's second badge - the jigsaw piece is for being a member of the Centenary Jamboree Build Team
Aggie liked the 1st Facebook and old Isle of Wight County badges and MaC's Guide "Thank You" badge
Tucked in between a Disney "Piece of Eight" and some Guide Centenary Badges Aggie liked the pens, string and bottle top "Just in case"
A collection of wristbands shows Festivals and other events Hatty has been to.
MaC was a Gamesmaker at the 2012 Olympic and Paralympic Games
Sid climbed up amongst the bugs and animals
GI Joe liked the Do Not Pull tab which MaC's friend who used to work for Martin Baker Ejector Seats gave him.
MaC and Sid often help at the Revolution Network and Explorer Camp
Then they all moved to Hatty2
Bob liked the 1st Newport group 110 year anniversary badge. See the full story of the oldest Scout Group in the world in our Scouting Heritage blog here
Aggie liked the Trefoil Guild 75th Anniversary badges
Jade was interested in the row of knots at the back of Hatty2's brim, She was especially interested in this one - a Trefoil Heaving knot - next to the Trefoil badges.
GI Joe liked the American badges- the stars and stripes and Viva Las Vegas are good, but the Rock, Paper, Scissors, Lizard, Spock badge from the Big Bang Theory was his favourite
Mini MaC liked the 2012 Olympic Gamesmaker badge and the Wenlock and Mandeville Mascots
And, of course, he liked the Terry Pratchett badge
Becca liked the Wight Rovers Media Team and Scouting Radio badges
Jade thought the GirdGuide badge to celebrate the Queen's 65th Jubilee was the most colourful badge
When Jade saw the Guide "Girls can do anything" badge she had to climb up to it
